To work as an Registered Nurse (RN) in the USA all nurses are required to pass the NCLEX (RN), the nurse licensing exam. This exam is exclusively conducted in the USA only on every day of the week. Foreign nurses are not granted US visa to attend the NCLEX exam. Foreign nurses who wish to work in the USA should make themselves eligible by passing CGFNS (Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools) & TOEFL & TSE.
